Press release - June 1, 2023, LAIRE, a digital growth agency specializing in web design and development, inbound content marketing, and HubSpot implementation, is thrilled to receive three awards from the Hermes Creative Awards' 17th annual creative competition.

LAIRE received a Gold award for their website design of Premier Building Systems’ family of four brands, as well as for their GROW® Coaching Program Guide Design for InsideOut Development. They also received an Honorable Mention for their Boston MBTA Ads for Watershed Informatics.

Hermes Creative Awards is one of the oldest and largest international creative competitions in the world, honoring the messengers and creators of the information revolution.

 

Award Winning Design for a Family of Sites

With the creation of a new parent company, Premier Building Systems (PBS), a cohesive digital ecosystem was needed for PBS and its product brands, Premier SIPS, R-Shield, and Premier ICF.

The websites needed to feel related while maintaining a unique identity through logos, color, imagery, messaging, and content. As each of these brands is a long-time industry leader, LAIRE was challenged with the hierarchy and organization of a very large content library.

According to Laura Laire, Co-Founder and VP of Creative Strategy at LAIRE, “We created a brand new digital presence for a parent company with no real identity in place, PBS, which did not exist at the start of this project. We reimagined what their existing brands, who had an established presence, could be by creating a cohesive corporate brand identity. LAIRE is incredibly proud of not only completing but excelling at this massive creative website project consuming a year and a half of planning and execution for an entire family of sites.”

LAIRE opted to build all sites within HubSpot, taking advantage of a holistic CMS, CRM, marketing, and sales platform to engage and nurture leads from awareness into closed/won deals.

Award Winning Program Design

LAIRE worked with InsideOut Development, a coaching and personal development organization, to rebrand and reinvigorate its marketing efforts. This design was an update to one of their coaching program guides, focused on making the content visually interesting and easy to read.

As the exclusive agency of InsideOut Development, LAIRE is now overhauling the organization’s entire website, redesigning all of its promotional materials, generating new content, and implementing HubSpot CMS, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub.

Honorable Mention for Ad Design

Watershed Informatics, founded in 2019, sought to build brand awareness with biologists and bioinformaticians. Where better to do this than Kendall Square in Boston, often called “the most innovative square mile on the planet”?

Watershed ran an out-of-home (OOH) advertising campaign with interior subway print ads along the Red Line. Creative, both imagery and messaging, were carefully considered to catch the eye of the company’s target audience, not other passengers like moms and their children.


“This was an energizing project for our team. We’ve all seen Subway ads — the good, the bad, and the ugly — and we were excited to make our mark in this medium for our client on the MBTA trains in Boston. The challenge was crafting skimmable headlines and graphics that quickly captured the attention of our niche target audience in a crowded but captive subway environment. We knew we had an opportunity to surprise and wow them with this placement, geographically targeted to the research area where our audience worked.”
